hope my reply was not taken as a smart a_ _ comment! I looked in the owner's manual at the fuse diagram page and then proceeded to look for that fuse... that's all.

your reply was not taken as a smart a$$ reply however I took it as it was

My question was a two part question "What fuse did you check and how did you check it"
which you didn't really reply to either part.

and the second part of my question was an answer that I was more concerned in knowing.

if you're wanting to check one of the fuses, the below-dash location, when open, reveals a small tool used to grab a fuse and pull it out. generally specking, if the metal piece embedded in the plastic is not broken or burnt looking, then the fuse is ok.

Really!!! Now being it looked good do me a favor The next time you start your expy and all you hear is a click Open up your hood and look at the battery If it looks good close the hood and guess why?

Looks can be deceiving

The only true way to check a fuse is to use a volt meter and see if you have voltage into and out of the fuse or use a test light but a meter will show the actual voltage

And your answer as to looking at the fuse was what I expected But didn't want to hear.

Read the attached link and view the videos

Now being you looked at the fuse and it LOOKED good Guess you need to pull the pump and install a new one But what happens if the new one doesn't work Then what Maybe time to start taking voltage readings? or maybe try another fuse that looks good.

The pump runs off of 12 Volts DC and if you don't know if you have voltage present then your just guessing and replacing parts without knowing if the part you are replacing is bad or not.

well, I believe that I've had another case of "Ready,Fire,AIM"!

listening under the hood as well as inside the cab it dawned on me... if the rear washer works, since there is apparently only one pump for both front and rear, maybe I have a stopped up hose in the front...?!

La cops do something similar, bang, bang, stop or I'll shoot! The lines get clogged, especially the metal sprayers that screw on to window trim. If it's just clogged you'll hear the pump when you hit button. Sometimes they can be cleared out with a tiny wire, or drill bit, and compressed air. Remove hose from nozzle, see if it's spraying out rubber hose, my bet is no. If so and can't clean, replace nozzles, done.

still working on this problem. pump makes no noise when attempting to use. front wipers work fine, rear wiper not so much. Anyway, pump bad, relay, fuse...?

the links above are broken.
any suggestions would be appreciated.
