Has anyone replaced their wiper blades? I’ve never seen a wiper arm that just has a little push button like my Tremor has. Everything has always been the normal J hook design.

I purchased a new 2024 Tahoe Premier and the front wiper blades have a little push button on them for removal.

I recently replaced them, using OEM GM blades.

Are you having problems removing the existing blades?

Nope. It's a piece of cake. My driver side was streaking a bit in a small section and I recently swapped with passenger until I get new blades.

If I were here, you would know it !
Well, if you don't like the little push button thingies, you could always buy & install a set of arms that has the old-school j-hooks, hahaha :)

Unless there is something unique to the way that the newer model's arms attach to the motor, it should be like a 10 min job, and if it's the same or similar to the older versions, you may or may not need a small, wheel-puller type of tool that gets it's little jaws under 2 sides of the existing arms & has a center point screw that pushes against the motor shaft when you turn it & pulls the arm up & off....

WARNING: DO NOT PRESS OR PRY AGAINST THE PLASTIC/RUBBER COWL COVER FITTINGS TO GAIN LEVERAGE, IT WILL CRACK EASILY, AND THOSE THINGS RUN ABOUT $800-1000 EACH !!!!!

As you've probably guessed, I've been there, done that.... cause the OEM arms that were on my '011 when I bought it were all faded & pitted from many years in hotlanta, GA...so I got a new set & replaced them....

Good luck :D

I figured I can get them at the dealership. The reason I asked is Costco had wiper blades on sale and the book said the would fit and when I tried…well that’s when I noticed the new style connector. I didn’t know if anyone found some that didn’t require a trip to the dealership. Luckily they are the same length as my F150 so I can use them just found it odd why change the design that already works…

I got a drivers side blade that’s 2” longer than what it came with and it fits perfectly. The passenger side had to stay at stock length. The Bosch icons have served me well.

The Bosch Icon wipers are all that I have used for what feels like the past 10 years. I did find that the most recent set that we put on my son's Honda Pilot did wear very quickly, otherwise they have always been good.
