I'm new here and looking for lift answers from someone who has been there. I recently installed a ready lift 3/2 spacer lift and it's not that smooth ride I was looking for. I'm wanting to know if I can use an f150 4" lift components on the front that correct all the geometry with aftermarket knuckles and diff drop? I would just retain the rear 2" lift spacer as that is a can of worms I dare not get into.

Not 100% sure, but maybe you could stack the spacers with Rancho Quicklift coilovers??

Although it seems people tend to lift the body, not the suspension when they go over 3/2, probably for stability reasons?

The goal isn't to get higher but to get better geometry of the front end. I'm just wanting to know how many of those parts are interchangeable. I guess I have too much time with time in my hands being off work today.

Hi Knox... what issues are you having or what about the ride with the 3/2 don't you like? When I lifted mine, I changed shocks and springs at the same time to restore factory height and to stiffen things up a bit. She rides just as nice as ever with a 3.5/2.5 lift/level. No attempt to restore original geometry.

I've accepted what it is. I called rough country up today and they confirmed that the f150 sub frame is different and a 4" lift won't work. So it's gonna stay just like it is. It does handle great, just a rough ride.

Ride with 3" up front on spacers is kinda ****** imho....also, stock shocks if you still got em = NOT known for longevity...

If she fails the bounce test, it's the shocks you need to address

Thanks for the post this answers some of my questions, and now I am going with the 3/2 setup. Now when I do this I am also

thinking about doing struts, wheels and tires.

Any recommendation for struts?

I like the new off road series for 2018 I believe they are running 18" wheels now I need to see what tire fits best. Not sure but

34" sounds like the ride will improve along with looks (due to the high profile), so now what about the roll?

I added some hub centric rings to the aftermarket wheels and that helped some. It has new shocks/springs along with a lift. What's working against the ride quality is a wider and lower profile A/T tire and 3" lift on stock components. I've accepted it and the thing looks great with a wide stance.
