03 - Painting the cladding update

I cannot resond to my other thread due to "dude's avatar. It makes me think dirty thoughts...

So...I decided to paint the cladding black using gloss black vinyl specific paint.

Not a lot of prep needed as I didn't really care for the caldding to be smooth.

I cleaned it and wiped it down with alcohol, masked it off and started sprayin'.

I will clear coat it all after I am done.

Looks good. How much do you estimate the paint will cost to do the whole thing?

It cost about $20.

4 cans of Krylon FUSION paint. 4.29 ea.
600 grit sand paper .75
Alcohol or laquer thinner 2.00
Masking tape 1.00


I only sanded the areas that got rough due to rocks and road debris.
