Crank, Delayed Start
Cranked and started, stalled, no start now I still cannot figure it out. I checked everything. Took off negative battery cable and used jumper wire between positive post and negative cable to clear memory as suggested by someone else. Expedition started. Habbibie, I already did that. They first told me it was the crank sensor. Then they ran another diagnostic and told me it was the PCM. When I asked for a printout of the scan, they told me that could not print it out and would not tell me anything about the readings. Cost me $105. They wanted to...- 44Steel

I only see the PATS system ring and wiring. There are two pieces located around the cylinder: 1) going to the halo around the cylinder (org, blk, lt blue, and wht wires) and 2) a little black piece (larger blk/pink wire). My email is [email protected]- 44Steel

Do you have the operational procedures for checking the Power feeds to the PCM? I am assuming I would need to disconnect the battery (first), then disconnect the PCM. Then reconnect the battery and check the feeds to the pins on the connection for the PCM???? I cannot believe this is happening...- 44Steel

Just read this: Systems B, C and E have an anti-scan function. If you attempt to start the vehicle with an unprogrammed key, the theft indicator will flash rapidly and the vehicle will not start. If you check my previous posts under Anti-theft system I have completed so many checks, I know its not the fuel pump, crank or cam sensor which were replaced. Fuel pressure is 44 psi. I have to wait about 1 to 2 minutes before I can start my 2000 expedition Eddie Bauer 4.6L RWD. In other words...- 44Steel

Okay, really need help. I picked up my expy from the ford dealership because they were trying to rip me off. They wanted $900 to replace the PCM. The part is obsolete through Ford and they were trying to charge me $592 for a $134 aftermarket part and then 3 hours labor for a 30 minute job...- 44Steel

That is not it. The pump is good. 44 PSI. Took it to the Dealer here in Monroe LA. They tried to tell me it was the Crank sensor. I told them it was new. They said, Oh let me check something else.
