325K miles on my 99 F150. It is a Triton V8, tow pkg, 2WD, automatic and the engine is going down hill, going thru a little over a quart of oil about every 3K miles. I can't complain too much as she's been a great truck. My biggest complaint is that over the years it has chewed up coil packs...
Very interesting swap. We have a 99 F150(320K) and a 03 Expy (185K) on the odometers. Since they are both paid for we have been considering engine replacement options (especially for the F150). Thanks for another idea.

I finally had an opportunity to dig into it today. Long story short, a CD was jammed in the bottom of the CD player. A little time and patience and the CD was removed. Stereo is back in and appears to be working fine......at least it didn't eat the first CD put back in it.

My wife's 2003 expy Eddie Bauer radio / cd player has decided to keep the six cd's loaded into it forever. So how do I get the thing out and what have y'all used to upgrade the unit?
