Stereo amp connected to delay relay?
Yep. Number 2 is what I'm shooting for. It seems that the amp turn-on is just over 9, almost 10 volts. Installing that little regulator reduces it down to 5 volts and BAZINGA! No more POP! Yes, they are definitely 74's, and trust me, those little buggers were a tight fit. I used long-nose pliers because they were handy....I was very careful not to break the bulbs. Maybe wearing nitrile exam gloves or something to give your fingers a little "gription." Or just carefully use...- SirJeffro

Oh, hey....the instrument cluster lights are #74! They're like a miniature version of 194. The same ones as in my Volvo 240's and V90...and prolly lots of other vehicles. I just used my last ones in my cluster last weekend. Found them now at 10 for $8.99 on Ye Olde Bay..... 74 Sylvania Bulb...- SirJeffro

Uhm, yeah the window switches in my 05 EB light up. I'm pretty sure that the door lock switches are supposed to be illuminated along with the window switches on each door. Most of mine are not working, along with a few on the dash...headlight switch, 4x4 switch. I took care of several instrument...- SirJeffro

Stereo amp connected to delay relay?
I had this same issue a couple of years ago with a JVC head unit in my 2003 Sport Trac...the sub would "pop" when everything powered on. It seems to be a voltage supply issue from the remote "switch on" wire of the HU. It is solved by using a $2 fixed voltage regulator from Radio Shack on...- SirJeffro

Jack stand placement when doing brakes
Just finished the rear brakes on my 05 EB just about 20 minutes ago..... Don't know if this is right or acceptable or safe, but everything still runs and functions properly....ten inch 4x4 and HF floor jack on the rear differential got it high enough to use jack stands @ the arrow cutouts...- SirJeffro

Passport Ultra Lite 280BH Pulled this Keystone Ultra Lite 280BH to Philpott Lake, Virginia....Salthouse Branch CG, about 140 miles. Weighs 4500 dry and we had it at about 5800 or so... Tow/Haul button... I had a 2003 Silverado LT 1500HD that we bought new. It was an 8600 GVW and had the "Tow/Haul" feature with a button on the shifter. Using the Tow/Haul not only locked out overdrive but also altered the shifting characteristics of the transmission by holding gears longer...- SirJeffro

Something else..... You may not have a towing package at all. Do you have an OE "four-way flat" trailer connector? I believe that you will find that unit in the photo to be in the "something else" department. I just went through this last week on our 05 EB. That cooler in the your photo is not...- SirJeffro
