front diff operation
Can someone explain/ point me to a video on how the front diff works on 99 xlt 5'4l 4wd? I did a search only find how to change fluid. I have the Haynes/ Chilton ( I don't remember which) manual and It explains how my f150 works (vacuum modulator on front diff) but it's not setup that way on exp!!- ddgts68

Auto 4 wd
Just a quick question, does the 4x4 light come on when the auto 4 wd kicks in? Have not been able to find info. Thanks- ddgts68

believe torque converter shudder
Newbie , little info 99 xlt, 4wd, 5.4l. when tranny goes in overdrive about 45 mph truck vibrates like driving on washboard road. od off makes it go away. However it doesn't disengage when brake applied.- ddgts68
