Water was dripping on the passenger side under the dash to floorboard from what I assumed is from the a/c since no rain and vehicle lives in the hot/humid south. Friend who is repair guy said the elbow on the drain hose is missing and water coming back thru firewall.and can’t seem to locate a new elbow. I appreciate all thoughts and recommendations.

If it's fresh water, clogged evaporator drain. Try a shop vac on the drain hose. If it smells weird leaky heater core
