1997 XLT highbeam problem

OK,
Every time I turn on my highbeams, the 30a fuse in the engine compartment (for the headlights) blows, and I have no headlights at all. Anyone know what's going on?

How are your headlights set up? Is it one bulb with both high and low beam in one or do you have the one bulb for low beam and one bulb for high beam?

Its a one bulb system, so im thinking it the turn signal switch or the muliy function switch both being the samething
