There is an electrical issue somewhere. Right now it is working so I would keep an eye on it. In the past when this happened I would wiggle the harness and connectors to see if there is an internal break in a wire or pin.
I would also check the grounds behind the passenger kick panel. It has been a known rust point on some vehicles.
