A moonroof capable of "pouring" water in during a storm has got to have one hell of an airleak whistle that you should hear when its not raining. There are 4 moonroof drains, one at each corner. I don't know how a 2017 would even have one or two of the drains blocked, let alone all 4. Open it up and look inside, I've seen smaller livestock troughs.

Coming from the joint in between plastic parts on the pillar behind the rear passenger door. Flowed down into the seat belt housing and the floor. The headliner and floor are damp too. The 2nd row foot closest to that spot has rust on it, so this isn't the first time theres been water in that spot. Took it to the dealer yesterday and says they would take care of me. Hopefully that means free since I've only had it 2 weeks......

Seems like more of the 2016&17 trucks have water intrusion issues than previous years.

My '16 & '04 dry as a bone. The '06 always leaked a little on the driver's A post. None of the vehicles have a sun roof. I learned back in the early '80s that sun/moon roofs and T tops are nothing but trouble and are to be avoided.

Wow Huey, I think you must be #2 for a leaking 16-17. I feel for you though as it's a crappy feeling seeing water coming in. My '03 rained harder on the inside than the outside!!!!

There have been sporadic reports on some of the "other" forums about the Sirius antenna being a source of water intrusion so maybe a quick check? Water can do funny things...I'm a plumber and I've seen roof leaks in buildings look just like a leaking pipe, 300 feet away! I hope that you both get them resolved quickly!

fwiw; I have large oaks at home and parked both other Expy's outside but only the 03 leaked. Now I have a canopy that I park under and have zero leaks anywhere and after my 03, I"m duley impressed. I wonder though, what role the exposure to the sap, pollen and rotting leaves had on making the other one leak?

I have a 2015 Expedtion Limited 4x4. A little off topic - but what is the brand of the rear floor mat pictured? It looks as though it fits very well. Thank you.
