What are some things features additions or changes youd like to see for the new expy?

1. Better packaged interior with better materials.
2. Better structure
3. More family oriented features...like how the 03 expy pioneered

Thats all for now, what are ur thoughts?

More trim options...something like the 2015 f150 would be great. Can pick any package (platinum, King Ranch, Lariat - or EB) and add an FX4 upgrade. Skid plates, e-locker, upgraded shocks. Hell even just an FX4 Expedition option would be a nice addition to the "fleet".

gosh - an option for towing mirrors, please.

If you find the right thread in here someone found tow mirrors on 1aauto for like $225 and they are an easy install to 03+ expeditions!

But I would love to see the FX4 edition come back as well, preferably redone so you actually get something out of having the FX4. Also maybe a concept redesign sort of like a bigger version of the newer explorers because I feel that the expedition has remained "relatively" the same visually for the past decade.

1. LED's inside and out with extra mirror side task lighting like on the new F-150's
2. More side bolstering of the bucket seats for lateral support.
3. Less freaking plastic inside and out
4. FX4 Package at the least!!!! RAPTOR type model?!?!? In my dreams!!!
5. No-touch liftgate
6. Allow center stack lighting colors to be changed like the rest of the interior "mood" lighting on/under dash, and in cup holders to match.

get rid of that turd of an ecoboost for those of us who live in the south. They suck when the temps hit the mid 90s and only get worse into the high 90s and 100s.

A three-quarter ton Expedition is not on the books. It should also be noted that GM's Chevrolet/GMC brands have opted to "discontinue sale" on their Suburban 2500 and Yukon XL 2500 to consumers, for the foreseeable future.

They have been limited to fleet and government sales only. To buy them, they must be ordered by fleet companies or government agencies. The average consumer will not be able to buy a 2500 unit new anymore.

Half-ton construction and technology has progressed to where current half-tons tow and haul what older three-quarter tons could 10 years ago, and one-tons could 20 years ago.

The current Expedition (U324) tows up to 9,200 lbs (4.6 tons) of braked trailer. The Excursion (UW137) when first introduced in 2000 was rated for only 10,000 lbs of braked trailer in its best configuration. So the current Expedition is knocking on the Excursion’s door.

The Expedition already has larger heavier-duty disc brakes than the Excursion had, with larger swept area and larger disc diameter.

The next Expedition is expected to push beyond 9,200 lbs and into 10,000 lb braked trailer territory.

I know, but still being able to get a 3/4 ton expedition would be nice! Eitherway the true limitation to the "wagon body" trucks is the lack of a 5th wheel or goose neck ability and such really cant go too high with hitch towing.

Eitherway a more powerful stout expedition would be awesome, although Im more then happy with my 1/2 ton and its 9200 towing capacity....
