YAY!!! pics please! i want to see how they wired up the amp. did you get a bass knob to control the bass? if not i would go get this one. http://www.amazon.com/Brand-Universal-Remote-Control-Output/dp/B0036VVKEU i have it and i really like it.

My project is "more complicated" but i've been searching forums and databases for days to get where i am now.
Answers:
-if your doors say "premium" or "mach" you have an extra amp.
-check all your fuses using the little section in the back of your expy's manual as a guide
-if you're confident the wiring is right... the head unit may be toast.
-check out the new one using an appropriate adapter (you have to buy it separate)
-if you have a amp from ford, make sure you connect the new HU amp signal wire to the blue wire on the car's skinny gray plug
