Amsoil By-Pass Filter Question

Anybody using this?

The advertisement says the by pass filter removes particles <1 micron and larger. That got my attention but was wondering if anybody on this board uses one.

If you do, does the filter system seem to work as advertised?

I haven't yet, but plan on it. I read lots of happy reviews on bobistheoilguy.com. They posted very good oil analysis results. Since the filter is not obstructing your main oil supply, they can get away with filtering it to an extremely small particle size. It just runs in the background, usually using your oil pressure gauge fitting and then returns into your oil sump.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to check it out. I wonder if it would be worth doing on a vehicle with 120k on it.
