Matt is correct. Range on the factory remote is almost worthless... Not to mention that it usually requires a lock-lock-lock or lock-unlock-lock procedure, accelerating lock actuator wear. Get a name brand unit installed by a reputable shop. You'll be so much happier. EDIT: The other problem with the cheaper units like the one you found on Amazon, is that the usually require you to give up a key for the transponder bypass. Reputable shops will use XpressKit or ADS (iDataLink, Flashlogic, Omega, etc) modules to keep you from losing a key.
