My fuel pump went out at about 140K. Symptoms were the same, cranks but would not start. The fuel rail did not have pressure, I was able to temporarily get the fuel pump going again by having the key in the run position, then rapping on the gas tank with a hammer near the fuel pump to get it unstuck. It was enough to get me home and to a repair shop to install a new fuel pump. At 200K, still going strong.
