Cup Holder/Trim

I am trying to install a brake controller in the open storage area at the front of the console. (Just below the A/C controls) I can't get the upper trim peice off. How do I remove it without breaking it? Thanks in advance.:rockband:

If you are talking about the cupholder section, all you have to do is remove that piece of rubber that is in the flat area and you will find one screw there that needs to be removed. Then just open the console lid so that you will be able to pop out the top area there and the front area under the A/C controls that are just held in with clips.

That is what I thought but I did not want to break the top. Where are the clips so I'll know where to apply the pressure? Thanks.

The clips are on the left and right corners, front and back
