Dome lights

I have a 2004 police package Expedition, and the police department disconnected the dome lights. Does anyone one know where I could possibly find the wire to reconnect so the dome lights come on with the doors opening?

Maybe a stupid question, but have you tried opening the dome light to see if there is a wire there that is disconnected? And have you checked the fuse box?

Well, the dome lights work when I use the dimmer switch, they simply won't come on with any of the doors.
