Gotta hold it on my 07. They only go down with 1 touch. The new models may be different but I'm not sure

the '17s are one-touch up or down for drivers side only or controllable...part way to control, all the way for 1-touch

I seem to remember my '03EB being one-touch too but I'd have to check it since it's still parked in my driveway spur.

My 2008 - drivers door only - press down or lift up the switch lightly and the window moves in the desired direction until you let go. Fully depress or fully lift up the switch then immediately release and the drivers window is express up AND express down.

The switch has four contact points, two in each direction, which the BCM uses to operate the motor.

Really? I'll have to try again. I can feel the 4 different clicks with up and down but up is NOT express in my experience which lines up with what everyone else is claiming

DIFFERENT REPLIES

This is why I suggested to READ THE OWNERS MANUAL

The following was copied from the

2014 Expedition (exd)

Owners Guide gf, 3rd Printing, March 2014

USA

POWER WINDOWS

WARNING:
Do not leave children unattended in your vehicle

and do not let them play with the power windows. They may

seriously injure themselves.

WARNING: When closing the power windows, you should verify

they are free of obstructions and make sure that children and

pets are not in the proximity of the window openings.

Note: You may hear a pulsing noise when just one of the windows is

open. Lower the opposite window slightly to reduce this noise.

Press the switch to open the

window.

Lift the switch to close the window.

One-Touch Down (If Equipped)

Press the switch fully and release it. Press again or lift it to stop the

window.

One-Touch Up (If Equipped)

Lift the switch fully and release it. Press or lift it again to stop the

window.

Bounce-Back (If Equipped)

The window will stop automatically while closing and reverse some

distance if there is an obstacle in the way.

Overriding the Bounce-Back Feature

WARNING:
When you override the bounce-back feature the

window will not reverse if it detects an obstacle. Take care when

closing the windows to avoid personal injury or damage to your vehicle.

Pull up the window switch and hold within two seconds of the window

reaching the bounce-back position. The window will travel up with no

bounce-back protection. The window will stop if your release the switch

before the window is fully closed.

THE KEY WORD IS

IF EQUIPPED

Hey guys, don't know if anyone is having issues still but learned this from being Jaguar salesmen back when they were very Ford related, and my own Expedition...

Haven't seen anyone explain it this way-
All limited Expeditions have 1 touch down AND up feature. It occasionally can get "confused" and dump the memory up and down causing you to actually hold the button manually. SO, if this happens, Manually hold down the- down button, and keep holding for another 3-5 seconds until you hear a click. Then do the same thing going up- make sure that you wait for the click, then its re-set for power up and down.

That's it- same thing with a lot of other Ford products- and all Jaguar products..

My 2011 Limited has one-touch up and down on the driver side window. On more than one occasion the window has gotten stuck (briefly) due to being frozen shut. The one-touch down continues to work, but the one-touch up stops working until the re-initialization process is done.
