For a complete tuneup. $550 gets me all new plugs, PCV valve, fuel filter, and engine diagnostic. If the expedition runs the way it should when I get it back will be the determination of if we keep it or not. I am pretty much done with the money pit it has become, but if it runs great when it is returned I will keep the beautiful girl!

Hmmm. They should warranty the plugs?
The vacuum lines are a real issue, my 04's are really disintegrated, crumbly. I want to change them all.
Do you drive in a salty area? Which caliper? Did that happen after a brake job?

Sorry, just want to hit all the rough areas before they happen.

About 8 months after we did slotted and drilled rotors and performance pads. It was right front caliper.

We have done both an engine and a transmission in my old man's 04 expy. Its a real shame cause my 97 is running original engine and tranny on just over 200,000 miles and it still runs fairly well considering how we beat on the truck. His has been a lemon since he bought it new...

Well we got it back and it is a lot better but still has a slight miss to it. I am going to go get some new coils tomorrow to make sure it's not one of them.

I sure hope you keep it. I have had all those problems plus a bunch of other. That is why I sold it. Boy do I miss it getting another one in december.
