ok lets say you go with this set up but get rid of the 2 cats and have one cat where they come together at the x pipe then split in to the 2 mufflers. or for lower sound stay with one muffler. thats how my 86 f150 with a 351 windser was.

only question is where to put the o2's i would think the first set would stay there and the last set after the cat.

how would ____ be affected???
torque
sound
larger diameter pipe?
high flow cat instead of buying 2

The red will be new pipe that the muffler shop bends, and puts in place.

As for welding, I'd think it would be preferable to weld the stuff in, but I guess you could clamp it in there.

As for the green, I'm still not sure, but I'll try to find actual pictures of people's set ups.

EDIT: Based on the pictures in this thread, I'd say there is no "green" pipe. The collector from the Long Tubes slips over the flange of the high flow cat.

(but with center Inlet/Outlet and 2.5" IN/OT)

CATS: i think im just gonna leave em or hollow em out... i hear that makes it louder lol

HEADERS: ill add em later.

PIPES: no clue where to get em... :( i figure you get em at a local muffler shop?

I don't know if I've already said it before, but I wouldn't be getting a Flowmaster if you want power. They don't seem to do so well "down low."
