5x8 fit. But the front door interior covers cover half the 5x8 speaker and you might want to go with a 6" round instead

Are you replacing the whole system?

Do you have the original Mach system with sub woofer?

Nope I have 02 and the 5x8 fit right in the same hole even the screw holes line up. but like I said the front door interior panel covers half the speaker.(5x8 three way is perfect for back doors)
The front door speakers have built in crossovers so if you keeping the stock head unit you will need something to tone down the highs.
Only takes less than 5 minutes to remove interior door panel. I suggest you do that and take a look to see what I am talking about.
