fuel issue?

Wife's expy just died this morning on the interstate. Turned out to be the module. Would start, run for about 1-2 seconds and die.

Price with tow and front brake job, new module, fuel system cleaning, new fuel filter; less than $1000 at the dealer.

To the OP, you did the starting fluid and your expedition ran and then died, indicating that a bad fuel pump is at hand. I would suggest you get a fuel pressure gauge tester and check for any fuel pressure before going after the fuel module. Your test indicated issue with your fuel pump and not the module.
