Hello Everyone,
My heater hose return broke of at the fire wall all the way under the fire wall.
Does anyone have a hack to replace?
Also if i cap off the heater at the intake , will that work temporally?

Thanks

If I'm reading that correctly the heater core hose port broke off. I'd wanna plug the heat core, both ports somehow to keep it from leaking into the vehicle. Loop the heater core hoses to each other and you'll be okay to drive it.

I have no hints on replacing the heater core, it can be quite time consuming on modern vehicles. AllData says the Expedition heater core is an 8hr job, so it'd take me 16hrs probably. It took 30 minutes on my 78 Bronco.

I found Dorman 800-403 Heater hose connector.
It fits over the pipe going into the firewall with a quick connector.
The other end , you just clamp on a regular hose.
Be sure to put the hose on first before you slide on the connector.
