Help! no spedo and spratic shifting!

Well ill give you the symptoms

-When problem occurs the speedometer goes out

-when problem occurs, the trans only holds first gear, I have to manually shift to second and thats all I have to work with

-Dash lights flash (4x4hi, 4x4lo, A4wd, low wash, and airbag)

I think it may be a speed sensor of sorts probably the one in the T-case, what are your thoughts?

replace your ABS sensor on the top of the rear diff, same issues i had with my excursion replaced that sensor(and removed the battery cable for a few mins) bam fixed it.

Are you sure its that abs sensor? I dont have the abs light on at all
