A search didn't reveal answers, so here goes:
The floor shifter on my wife's 07 Expy had begun to intermittently not shift out of park. Did it once out of the blue and is now becoming a problem (read as MY problem now...you husbands and boyfriends know what I mean, )
I was driving it last night and got it to stick twice. Is it a switch at the brake pedal that's perhaps not being fully depressed or is whatever that locks the shifter not retracting as it should?
No combinations of pushing the shifter forward or pressing and releasing brake with my head turned to 73 degrees while touching my nose with my left index finger helped.
