Didn't have time to take the wheels off, but looking through the rims, the 2008 Expy caliper doesn't look like a normal caliper in the sense that you remove 2 pins, a spring, and slide the old pads out from the top.
With that said, how exactly do you change the pads on these things? I've started to develop a squeal or squeak when driving and only goes away at higher speeds or when the brake is applied. It seems to me that the front pad wear indicator has started to contact the rotors.
