Just checking in from Sandy Springs Georgia Long time Ford owner Thought I died and went to heaven when I got my 97 Expy ,07 Limited and 17 Limited last May. So far has been a nice ride but I do miss the feel of that 5.4 V8.

Welcome to the forum, hope they all treated you/ treat you well. know what you mean, the subtle growl/drone of the 5.4 just can’t be replaced, good motor. The 3.5 is fun too.

Thanks JExpedition07! The 97 was a great truck till it blew out a plug! My son had it on a cross country trip with some of his friends just after he graduated from high school. happened in Wyoming. Had it towed to a Ford dealer and they insisted on putting on a whole new head cost me about 2K. 07 was better 0 problems till fuel pump went out at 90K miles. Hope the 17 holds up as well.
