So I am installed new struts and installing them with a leveling kit on top of each... I got most of the front driver's side bolts off yesterday but ended up stripping the 10mm bolt holding feature off the tie rod end and had to cut it so, new tie rod end, and I finally got the strut and spacer in the driver's side yesterday (all I've got done so far and the truck is sitting) but the sway bar end link bottom bolt sits in some sort of housing at the bottom of the control arm and I had gotten it loose (only to realize that I didn't need to undo the bottom of the end link and only the top of it) but I cannot tighten it back up because the bolt spins with the nut and there is no way to hold it while you turn the bolt? I have PB blaster and heat... I'm not sure what to do about this and I will be starting the other front side tomorrow... If I'm doing anything wrong or if anyone has any more advice I would greatly appreciate it! My first doing suspension and it is proving to be a real pain!

Here are some pics of my 2006 4x4 XLT...

Check if the sway bar link has hex on the top side of the control arm..where the threaded stud goes through. some do some don't. I've had to cut a couple because the stud was spinning. I have brand new links in now and even on new ones i need impact to remove them because the studs just spin.

You can use a long socket or jam something in there on a side of the nut to keep it from spinning.

Yeah I didn't think of that.. That sounds like it would work the jamming something beside it, anyways I just chopped the end link off and got a new one from MOOG... On there fine now and aligned it's been driving for 2 days now since the level and it feels pretty good
