I've got an 03 Expy. It has the mirror puddle lamps. I want to change the mirror so it has the blinker and the puddle lamp. I've looked at the repair manual and it seems that the mirror is the same part overall with the blinker part attachment being different from the puddle light attachment. Does anyone know if these ar interchangeable parts? It would certainly be a whole lot cheaper than the whole mirror being replaced. If the wiring is there it would be a plus, but no matter if it's not there. Since anyone else's signal mirror would require the wiring.
It just seems to simple that you could swap the puddle lamp part at the bottom of the mirror for the blinker puddle lamp.
Am I missing something?
The ford parts look like about $75 plus any needed wiring.
