missing after rain

2000 exp 5.4 misses on no 4 after rain , my mechanic has seen this before with same style exp and f150 , once it does this very hard to keep from doing again , replacing coil boot and plug will get you going again but will not stop next occurence, can't see any water getting there just appears on boot, saw an earlier thread where someone mentioned sealing the boot somehow but cant find thread, my mechanic has tried hi temp grease and hi temp silicone but still gets in , any help?

are you sure its not a coil pack?

yes , already tried coil , water is key , just a few drops will do it and every time it misses its wet.

Check for leaks at the heater core and line connections. That has been a common problem with the expys.
