Motor swap into 06

Hey all, got a couple questions.
First I'll give you the run down on my situation.

Bought a 03 lifted 5.4 2v, find out someone bondo over the frame and covered up the rot. And the guy I bought it from is dicking me around with the title.

So push come to shove I found an 06 limited, with a 5.4 3v and blown motor. (Cam phases shit the bed, or cam bearings the guy said)

My question is can I swap the 2v, pcm, and whatever else I need into the 06 to have it running again?

I can rebuild the 3v if need be but I'd really like to swap it

You definitely have the room. The 3V heads make that
motor slightly wider, so only issue would be motor mounts
exhaust and if ECU is plug 'n play. Since your '06 is the last
of the '03 -'06 second generation, the first two years came
with the 5.4 2V anyway. My '05 was first year with 3V.
Maybe you can ask Tasca Ford about the ECU.

I wouldn't do a thing with the lifted '03 until you have the title.
I also would never buy a non running '06 anything.
There is an old saying about throwing good money after bad.

If you do move forward on this proposed swap, be ready for wiring harness changes, different wires on different pins, and so on. More than just the transmission changed between an 03 & 06.
