I forgot one more thing. I am also wanting to install the Factory Navigation Radio in my 2005 Eddie Bauer. It has the factory autophile in it. So will the factory wire harness plug into the Nav unit and also the under dash Navigation unit???

I doubt it. The plug is probably different plus you'll be missing the antena for the GPS. I personally think you would be better of with an aftermarket radio with nav.

I have to agree the after market is the way to go. I was looking into this as well and for the price of the stock Nav unit for my 2011 was around $3000.00 I got a Kenwood with the Idatalink that allowed me to keep sync working for $1200.00

I really did want to install the Factory unit, but all you guys are correct. The aftermarket units are so much cheaper and do so much more for less money. I will keep you guys posted on what I end up installing.
This is such a great place to get answers for you Expeditions. Thanks Guys and keep it up
