While holding still / engine on?

Any change with acceleration or braking?

Do you have air bags in back?

If it's got an air ride suspension, you can usually hear the solenoids on the air bags, otherwiseit may just be the exhaust cooling off. Other than that, no ideas.

Yep ... that's why i asked about the air bags.

Also - a leaky fuel injector will cause the pump to turn on keeping the
pressure right in the lines. Hmmmm, not for 5 minutes though probably.

The tow package includes some relays back in the rear panels by the jacks and stuff. Is your tow harness connected?

The exhaust pinging as it cools down is the only noise my expy makes
back there! However, I have a friend who works on fords and I will inquire
if he has any ideas.

I crawled under after parking and it sounds like the solenoids on the airbags.
Thanks Guys
