Time has come to install the F150 Lightning wheels (18x9.5). Thinking of going with 285/60R18 tires. Since I dont do any off road I would like a quiet tire.

On the economical side, I was offered Kumho for $157 each installed. Im looking to spend no more than $175 each out the door (or $700 total). Im looking for quiet and comfort. Any other brand anyone can suggest?

If anyone knows a good honest shop in SoCal that would even be better

Thanks for your post. I ended up preordering Sumitomos HTR. $610 installed. Lifetime rotation and puncture repair.

Kumhos I read are loud and I havent tried Nexen brand either. Also havent tried Coopers (are they US made?)

As far as height, my expe being 2WD My standard height is only 30". I went with 60series tires so that ups my height to a stndard 4WD at 31.5"

Personally I would have said go to costco and get michelins. I have them on my expy and they are amazing. Great grip and very quiet. Plus its an all in one deal. lifetime balancing rotation, nitrogen air inflation, etc.

I agree. Loved the PS2s on my other car. But for the Expe they are asking $1048 vs $625 for Sumitomos

The next cheapest option they have are Brdigestones at $749

but soon found out the wheel weights they used are hitting the brake lines when the steering is on full lock. Need to replace the wheels weights
