Does anyone have any suggestions why an OSSS would keep going out? I recently replaced mine and then it started acting up again so I checked the OSSS and instead of the 400-600 OHMS that it should be reading I am getting 1.249 OHMS so something is causing it to go out I am just not sure what.

It could just be a fluke if it has just happened twice. That new speed sensor could have been bad.
But if you have had more than two go bad, I'd start looking at for outside causes. Wiring harness, etc.

What brand are you buying and the country of it's origin?
Are you sure the resistance is less or did the range change to K Ohms?

Wound up taking it to dealership, they took everything apart and put it back together and everything ran fine...probably just a loose conection that I did not find.
