Just a little project ive been working in today. These are 12" profile pivot switchback strips. The lens is pretty dirty because the weather is nasty here but they'll be lit up shortly

The effect is pretty cool but I can't really see what you installed. Did take any pictures of the strips before you installed them?
I didn't but it's just a 12" strip to fill in the dead area beside the oem blinker. I'll be back with some daytime shots shortly so you'll be able to see them better

Unfortunately my lens is pretty dirty and the white looks blue for some reason. This area from the factory has no lighting and to me it looks like it should. Bottom pic is oem without the strips

That looks nice. Did you have to remove the clear headlight cover or did you put them in from the back somehow?

Yeah so basically open the lens and remove the black bezel thats attached to the inside of the lens. I drilled a small hole at the end if that channel to feed the wiring through, used the 3m double sided tape supplied to fasten the strips. Then drilled some tiny holes on each side of the strip in 4 spots along the length of the strip. Used fishing line through those hole and around the strip to ensure the strip never lifts and as you can tell the fishing line Just disappears. I also used a small dab of jbweld on the knot if the fishing line to make sure it never un-tied

Very cool. I would love to put some thing like that inside the upper portion to use as driving lights.
