The effect is pretty cool but I can't really see what you installed. Did take any pictures of the strips before you installed them?So Massachusetts is a frozen tundra so these pics stink but it what I could get right now
I didn't but it's just a 12" strip to fill in the dead area beside the oem blinker. I'll be back with some daytime shots shortly so you'll be able to see them betterThe effect is pretty cool but I can't really see what you installed. Did take any pictures of the strips before you installed them?
Yeah so basically open the lens and remove the black bezel thats attached to the inside of the lens. I drilled a small hole at the end if that channel to feed the wiring through, used the 3m double sided tape supplied to fasten the strips. Then drilled some tiny holes on each side of the strip in 4 spots along the length of the strip. Used fishing line through those hole and around the strip to ensure the strip never lifts and as you can tell the fishing line Just disappears. I also used a small dab of jbweld on the knot if the fishing line to make sure it never un-tiedThat looks nice. Did you have to remove the clear headlight cover or did you put them in from the back somehow?
Very cool. I would love to put some thing like that inside the upper portion to use as driving lights.Yeah so basically open the lens and remove the black bezel thats attached to the inside of the lens.
