I know there are folks on here with roof-mounted lights, antennas and other. Are there any threads out there on how to run wiring through the roof? I'm curious as to how it's being done.

I haven’t done it but I would bet you could remove the front portion of the roof rack and run it through pre drilled hole in that.

Cable glands work very well for sealing up to the roof and around the wire. You would just need to figure out the correct size based on what your running

It all depends on the thickness of the cable you are trying to run and the location you want to mount it to (front, middle or rear)

For smaller cables (like a satellite antenna) you can run them under the weather strip in the pass door jam, up the windshield weather strip and across to the center of the roof.

You can also run them through the headliner and out the 3rd brake light (you can even notch the light if the cable is larger and seal it with silicone)

Then when it comes time to remove it, all you have to do is replace the light at a worst case.
