They changed to the HO 3.5 in the 2022 refresh. The information you are reading doesn't relate to the model years 2022+.
Previous years the higher powered EB on the platinum trim was not a HO 3.5.

ah, I've only got catalogs up to 2021.

If I were in the market for a new vehicle I'd wait until next year sometime to purchase, if possible. The current inventory of expensive trucks and SUVs is growing and not moving off of dealer lots.

The 2025s will be out next year, those prices will be sky high especially if they drip the hybrid in it

Powerboost on the F150 forum seems to have guys chatting quite a bit about issues. Mind you, it's forum talk which doesn't reflect the masses.
