It depends what year Expy you have. 2003 and prior is easy to do the plugs, 2004 and after SUCKS!! The older 2V in the 03 and older doesnt have the plug issue.


I wish members would get their information CORRECT prior to them posting

You say 2004 and after SUCKS
If that is true then why does the 2004 expedition use the same plugs as the 2003?
They both have the 2v engine

my plugs in my 08 looked just like Clemson's...I busted 2 of them trying to remove so it is an issue so follow the tsb to the T...

I believe that some late 04's did have the 3V motor, which had the 2 piece plugs.

I think it's kind of funny..... 1997-2004 plugs were blowing right out of the top of the motor, couldn't keep them in! So naturally they have to redesign it so the things won't come out again, under any circumstance ever....... like when you want to change them...:dogpile:
