I purchased some new front pads and rotors on my 07 Expedition in the beginning of June. From the beginning, they were a little squealy but it was not terribly bad. The next month, I did the rear pads and rotors.
The front started to squeal when braking more and more, so I brought it back to Monro Muffler and they replaced the whole front. Right away it was still squealing. I gave it about 2 weeks and it has not gone away.
Cold, warm, dirty, cleaned, they always squeal, but it seems only from the front.

Does anyone have any ideas for why this would be?

I am not sure about the spray.

I am taking it in again on Saturday. I'll have to check with the mechanic.

Is there a chance that is it the combination of material type of pads and rotors?

I took it in and they ended up upgrading the pads to a thermaquiet brake.
Immediately a better brake and the squealing was gone.

It might be due to the much bigger tires I have on it for rolling weight maybe?
Fixed!
