Starter key gets stuck forward after ignition

My '07 key FOB gets stuck forward at ignition. Starts fine but keeps ignition turning. I have to turn off then try again hoping it does not stick all the way forward.I don't know what normally makes it retract after ignition. Maybe a spring inside is not working.
There maybe a spray to use. Anyone else have solution?

Inspect the linkage from the lock cylinder to the ignition switch. If the binding isn't in there then it may be time to replace the lock cylinder.
