I am looking at getting new tires and I think I have decided on the general grabber at2 and I wanted to go with 265/70/18 which seem to only be a little taller and wider but being that they are a much more aggressive tread I. I bit worried about rubbing. Do you think they will fit on a stock 3rd gen?

I believe it's still a 31 inch tire which are stock on our expeditions. You could go to a 285 or even 315 with minor trimming to plastic.

my friend has a set of 2010 20's for sale from his '10 f150, says it will fit my 04 expy, believe they are still 6x135. question is, will it rub? they are 305/55/20 with terra grapplers. I have stock 17s with LT265/70/17 AT3s and my suspension is 3in front 2in back ReadyLIFT with Eibach struts

If he's your buddy, maybe he will let you mount the fronts before purchasing. That way you can check clearance while turning, and if it doesn't work, he should understand. Of course it all depends how good of a friend he is. If the fronts work, the rears definitely will too.

I want to say I have seen 2nd gens run 305's and be ok, but I'm not 100%.
