Well today was way way too windy to play on the motorbike so I decided I would break out the kayak. I drove about 60 or so miles to Lake Mackenzie (in Briscoe County, TX).

Once again the exped performed flawlessly. I had a great time.
Normally I use some kind of foam to separate the boat from the roof of the truck. I couldn't find my foam so the boat is sitting right on the roof of the truck. Not my ideal setup but it worked for today.

I have owned by exped for 3-4 years and I have been totally impressed. I have had a few small issues here and there but overall it has been a GREAT vehicle. I payed $2K back when I bought it and I probably have $3000-$3500 total in it now....I am definitely getting my moneys worth.

Nice man! Looks beautiful out there.
I usually just stuff my kayak in the back of my expy (no 3rd row seating and fold down seats)

Thanks!
I also keep my 3rd row in my garage with the back seats folded down. Unfortunately my kayak is too long to carry inside my exped. I wish I could though...

yea the roof bars are back on the truck now. I couldn't find them the morning I left for the lake so I had to make due with kayak on paint...not the most desirable setup in the world but it worked.
