transmission service?

How difficult is it to change the transmission filter and service it. the shop told me it would be 200 dollars for them to do it. I just want to know is it worth it to just have them do it?

unless they are doing more than a flush and filter change I cant see how its $200. It only takes 30 minutes (roughly). I had mine in and out in about 45 minutes and that included them going to another location to get the correct filter, and they were willing to flush it 3 times rather than 'power purge' it.

I payed around $70 with a groupon.

what ever you do don't take it to the ford dealership and its not hard it should only be 30 minutes if that
