I have a 2003 Expedition XLT 5.4, when i first start it up in the morning and put it in gear i have a slow hesitation or stutter, once it warms up its fine. This only happens when the truck is cold, or first thing in the morning. Is this normal or am I looking at future problems with the Transmission.

there is a known issue with the factory programming not ramping the forward engagement pressure fast enough especially when cold. My forward clutch pack finally gave up from seeing 32k miles in the north before i moved back to texas. Not to say your's is on the way out but it could be. Has it always done this?
