this is my idea of the perfect expedition! Just found it on a google search and the guy stated a 10 inch suspension lift with 39.5 inch tires. Anyone know more information on it? .......BEAUTIFUL!!

No I can't say I have. But, those tall tires and that large of a tire, I would have to say that it is a street queen and nothing more. That stock frontend has to be taking a beating, and all I can imagine is one time off-road and no go no mo. Other than that, yes it is nice looking.

Sky jumper- your right, it's a little too pretty boy for me as well. But it's a start. I like the idea of a 10 inch suspension lift and 39.5 inch tires. I'd love to do a similar set up and continue on to make a "low dollar" bogger:D

I think I recognize the truck. He ended up totally the truck not to long ago because the front hub exploded on the truck and the tire fell off of the truck and that steered him into a ditch. needless to say, it messed the truck up pretty good.

It is not the too pretty thing I was refering to, it is the stock axle setup with that big of a lift and tire combo. It just begs for breakage, if you build it and put that kind of money into something, then do it right, and use larger axles to handle the increased tire size and load.

That just goes to what I mentioned earlier this morning, "breakage"!

On the front of the cradle for the LCA's, it does say FTS(Full THrottle Suspension). So I would assume that it is that throughout. And you are right, all show, and no glory.

I didn't look closely... saw the amount of lift on IFS and assumed it was a crappy lift company.... only way to go that big would be SAS.... aka...my expy's future... if the wife allows...

if the wife allows...

DO IT-DO IT!

That is the way I am planning right now. But I am going D60 and a Sterling out back. Less headaches and more capability.

Oh by the way, I too have to ask the wife, even after celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary last Dec. I learned a long time ago, make the wife happy, you will be happy. :smokin:

If I had a garage, I might just consider it, Then I was thinking maybe find a cheap Expy with High miles but good body and build a 1ton Diesel Expy, now that would be fun :flamingdevil:
