My AC blows strong and cold but when I turn the AC to just front vents it takes about five seconds to start blowing out of the front vents, is this normal?

Thanks,
-A

Thanks guys, super fast response.

This normally means no one knows.. or everyone is out cruzing :)

Maybe it is a gummy rubber seal on one of the vent doors.. Or maybe one of your vent door actuator (that cra*py thing that always goes tick.. tck, tck..) is starting to cra* out...

Assuming a second gen from your user name, if you have the electric automatic temp control unit, it does take a few seconds for the electronics to boot up before it blows out the front vents. The rear blower starts up instantly.

It does take a second or two to get blowing if it's the electronic unit.

How many miles? Ever had any vacuum leaks?

I've had two vacuum leaks that I fixed and the truck has 88k.

Yes, I can hear the blower motor.
