Well let me tell ya'll our needs and maybe ya'll can steer me in the right direction because I know next to nothing about off road tires. We'll be driving both on and off road. Off road consisting of gravel, mud, sand, and fist sized rocks. I do not want to change the height of Expy (at least not at this point in time) and definitely don't want it to rub. I was leaning towards a 22 because I wanted a wider tire but what I hadn't thought about was that it would also be a thinner tire which would concern me when going through my uncle's ranch (fist sized rocks). That being said what are ya'lls thoughts and/or opinions?
You are crazy if you want 22s.....my 'offroad' includes fields/gravel roads (just country driving in Iowa) and I only do it occasionally - I take it slow as to not do any damage.
If there are truly fist size rocks the largest I would go is 20s...I would actually recommend a nice 18 with plenty of tire...last thing you want is to land off of one of the rocks and scratch a big rim. You can also get a much better on/off road tire at smaller diameter...at 22s all that is left is street tires that will do a bit of all season/M&S
